Create a Course

This section allows you to create and publish a new course within the LMS (Learning Management System). Follow the steps below to configure your course properly.

You need to edit the Courses . First, go to WordPress Dashboard → Elementor → Settings → General → Post Types, select all post types, and click Save Changes.
STEP 1: Go to LMS > All Courses > Add New
Navigate to your WordPress dashboard and click: LMS > Courses > Add New.
STEP 2: Course Title & Description
Course Title: Enter the name of your course.
Course Description (Editor Area): Use the WordPress editor to write the detailed description of your course. Include overview, objectives, benefits, and expectations.
STEP 3: Configure Course Settings
Below the main editor, you’ll see multiple configuration tabs like:
1. General
Select Page Layout (Type 1–5)
Choose Co-Instructors (optional)
Mark as Featured Course (Yes/No)
Enable Social Share Items
Show Related Courses (Yes/No)
Reference URL (if applicable)
2. Curriculum
Click Add Section, then Add Lesson, Add Quiz, or Add Assignment.
Ensure all items are created in advance.
Avoid curriculum repetition.
3. Attachments
Upload any number of media files relevant to the course.
4. Sidebar
Enable sidebar (optional)
Choose content type and add sidebar content/shortcodes.
5. Start Date
Select course start date.
Enable/disable purchases before start date.
6. Capacity
Set course capacity limit (optional).
Optionally disable purchases once capacity is full.
7. Course Prerequisite
Select a prerequisite course.
Choose whether to allow purchases before prerequisite is completed.
8. Completion Lock & Drip Feed
Choose between Curriculum Completion Lock or Drip Feed.
9. Certificate
Enable Certificate (Yes/No)
Set percentage required
Choose certificate template
10. Badge
Enable Badge (Yes/No)
Set percentage required
Upload badge image
STEP 4: Publish Course
Once all configurations are complete:
Click Publish on the top right to make the course live.
