Create a Lessons
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to create a Lesson using the DesignThemes LMS Add-on:

You need to edit the header. First, go to WordPress Dashboard → Elementor → Settings → General → Post Types, select all post types, and click Save Changes.
How to Create a Lesson in LMS
Step 1 : Navigate to the Lessons Section
Go to your WordPress dashboard.
Click on LMS > Lessons > Add New.

Step 2: Add Lesson Title & Content
In the Lesson Title field, enter the name of your lesson.
In the content editor below (you can use Visual Composer or Gutenberg), add your lesson material—this can include text, images, videos, and shortcodes.
Step 3: Configure Lesson Options

Unlock Lesson
Toggle this ON to make the lesson public (previewable).
Useful for giving a free preview of your course.
Curriculum
Add related sections, quizzes, assignments under this lesson.
Click on:
Add Section
Add Quiz
Add Assignment
Ensure you don’t duplicate curriculum items.
Duration
Add how long it takes to complete the lesson (e.g., 45).
Then select the Duration Parameter (Minutes, Hours, etc.).
Teachers
Assign one or more instructors to this lesson from the dropdown list.
Maximum Mark
Default is 100; you can set another max score as needed.
Pass Percentage (%)
Optional; set how much a student needs to score to pass.
This is stored for future use (not active yet in frontend logic).
Featured Video
Add a video URL (YouTube, Vimeo) or upload self-hosted .mp4 files.
This video will be prominently displayed in the lesson.
Author
Choose who authored the lesson (admin can override here).
Step 4: Publish the Lesson
Once all settings are done, click the Publish button on the top right to save and make your lesson live.
Step 5: Add the Lesson to a Course
Go to LMS > Courses > Edit an existing course.
In the Curriculum section, click "Add Lesson" and select the lesson you just created.
